Dear Lakeside Business
Owner & Citizens
In light of a recent string of break-ins of our local businesses, we
are actively seeking the help of Lakeside Businesses and its
Citizens.
In years past, we were fortunate to have a Sheriff’s store front on
Woodside Ave, greater number of patrol cars, more officers in the
area and even officers on bicycles. During that time we saw a
decrease in crime, drug use and issues with homeless in the park and
community. Since its closure we have witnessed a rise in these
problems that continue to plaque our community.
The Lakeside Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors is asking all
Lakeside Businesses and/or Citizens to write a letter to Supervisor
Dianne Jacob, requesting the store front be reopened, more patrol
cars in our area and a commitment to insure the safety of our
businesses and citizens.
Address your letters to: Supervisor Dianne Jacob
1600 Pacific Highway, Room 335
San Diego, CA 92101
Or e-mail: Dianne.Jacob@sdcounty.ca.gov
If you would like help in writing your letter or need an example,
please feel free to contact the chamber or call Frank Hilliker,
President @ 619-889-7722. We also are requesting a copy of
your letter for our files, e-mail to chamber@lakesideca.com or mail
to the address below.
The Lakeside Chamber of Commerce is committed to supporting our
businesses and our fine community, we hope you will unite with us
and make our needs heard loud and clear.
Thank you,
The Lakeside Chamber of Commerce
Board of Directors
